Service Checklists and Exclusions

What's included with each cleaning type, what's not, and what professional cleaning can't fix.

Effective Date: July 19, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 19, 2026

The checklist shown in your final booking confirmation always controls for the specific service you purchased — add-ons are included only when selected and shown in your booking summary. For a task-by-task breakdown, use our Compare Service Checklists tool.

Standard Residential Cleaning

Regularly maintained homes, routine one-time visits, and homes without heavy buildup.

Typically includes

  • Dusting, wiping, and vacuuming/mopping of accessible surfaces and floors
  • Kitchen counters, sink, stovetop, and appliance exteriors
  • Bathroom sanitizing — toilet, sink, tub/shower, mirrors
  • Bed-making with existing linens and wastebasket emptying

Not automatically included

  • Inside oven, refrigerator, cabinets, or drawers
  • Interior windows, laundry, or linen changes

Deep Cleaning

First professional cleaning, seasonal resets, or preparing for recurring service.

Typically includes

  • Everything in Standard Cleaning, plus additional time and detail
  • Detailed baseboard, door, trim, and cabinet-exterior cleaning
  • Extra attention to kitchen and bathroom buildup
  • Detailed dusting of ledges, vents, and floor edges/corners

Not automatically included

  • Inside oven, refrigerator, cabinets, or drawers unless shown in your booking
  • Interior windows, laundry, or linen changes

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

Empty or mostly empty properties with active utilities and no ongoing construction debris.

Typically includes

  • Standard and selected deep-cleaning tasks
  • Inside empty closets, cabinets, and drawers when listed in your booking
  • Detailed kitchen, bathroom, and floor cleaning for occupancy readiness

Not automatically included

  • Construction debris, paint/adhesive/grout removal, abandoned belongings
  • Exterior windows, carpet extraction, pressure washing, repairs

Airbnb & Vacation Rental Turnover

Guest turnovers scheduled tightly between checkout and the next check-in.

Typically includes

  • Cleaning per the vacation-rental checklist and bed-making with available linens
  • Kitchen and bathroom surfaces, vacuuming/mopping, and ordinary waste removal
  • Light guest-ready presentation and a completion notification

Not automatically included

  • Laundry, linen rental, and consumable restocking unless selected as add-ons
  • Guest reviews, platform ratings, occupancy, or rental income are never guaranteed

Recurring Cleaning

Weekly, biweekly, or every-4-weeks plans that build on your saved preferences.

Typically includes

  • The Standard Residential Cleaning checklist, applied at your saved frequency
  • Saved property preferences and access instructions carried between visits

Not automatically included

  • A skipped or paused visit may need extra time or a Deep Cleaning next time
  • The frequency you choose affects price — more frequent visits mean less buildup

Compare Checklists

How we label checklist status

On the Compare Service Checklists tool, every task carries one of four statuses:

IncludedDetailedAdd-onNot included

1. General Exclusions

Unless expressly accepted in writing, our services do not include:

  • Mold, biohazard, crime-scene, or hoarding remediation;
  • Pest or infestation cleanup;
  • Substantial human or animal waste, needles, sharps, or illegal substances;
  • Hazardous chemicals, asbestos, lead, or other regulated materials;
  • Exterior window cleaning, roof, gutter, or high-exterior work;
  • Unsafe ladder work or lifting above company safety limits;
  • Heavy furniture or appliance moving;
  • Carpet or upholstery extraction, pressure washing, or pool cleaning;
  • Landscaping or construction-debris removal;
  • Paint, adhesive, grout, caulk, or cement removal;
  • Repair, restoration, resurfacing, or refinishing;
  • Disposal of personal belongings without written authorization; or
  • Work requiring a license, certification, or equipment we don't offer.

2. Clutter, Accessibility, and Unsafe Areas

We clean accessible surfaces only. We may not be able to clean a surface blocked by excessive clutter, personal belongings, heavy furniture, active occupants, unsecured pets, or other obstructions — time spent working around clutter may reduce the time available for cleaning unless organizing is included.

We clean only areas safely reachable using company-approved tools and step equipment. We may decline tall ladders, roof access, exterior high windows, unstable furniture, standing on counters, or other elevated work outside our safety standards.

3. Permanent Conditions

Professional cleaning may not remove:

  • Permanent staining or hard-water etching
  • Rust or bleach damage
  • Worn finishes, scratches, or burn marks
  • Damaged grout, caulk, or discoloration
  • Material deterioration or paint damage
  • Odors whose source remains present

4. Customer-Supplied Products

We may decline products that are unlabeled, unsafe, prohibited, or inappropriate for the surface. Notify us of allergies or sensitivities before service — we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

5. Scope Changes

If actual conditions or requested work materially differ from your booking, we may contact you, revise the estimate, recommend a different service, limit work to the purchased scope, reschedule, or decline unsafe or specialized work. We will not intentionally perform material additional work and charge for it without your authorization.
